ENTRECARD Giveaway: I Won something!!!!!

Author: SabahanCuisine  //  Category: Odds&Ends

I got a nice surprise when I signed in to my blog today … I saw 2 incoming links on my dashboard, one from  Sense To Save and another from Entrecard Favorites regarding the winners/results for the Largest Entrecard Giveaway contest. Followed the links and guess what, I won!!! *Dances around* It’s not the grand prize (34,000 EC + Fast Pass), but I still won something! Hehehe .. I’ve never won any online contest before, or rather ANY CONTEST AT ALL, so yeah … I’m happy! Won 248 EC for the Writing and Literature category… weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

I first found out about this contest through Kevin’s blog, thanks Kevin! The giveaway was held between March 15 to April 15, but only new members were eligible. A nice coincidence for me since I launched this blog sometime around that.

What a nice way to start a new week eh? :D So what are you waiting for? If you have not sign up for Entrecard, do it this instance and join in the fun of making friends through Entrecard! Let’s drop our cards together! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee……!!!

Ngiu Chap Soup

Author: SabahanCuisine  //  Category: food

Last Saturday, I went to eat Ngiu Chap at Donggongon Town. Just for you, bongkersz and Suituapui! LOL. You want to know what a ngiu chap is - and it’s better to explain with pictures than words!

What is a ngiu chap? Ngiu or in mandarin niu, is something of beef. Ngiu Chap practically means everything that are made of beef? ROTFL. I don’t know for sure. Ah well… anyway, this is what Ngiu Chap Mee Hoon Soup looks like ….

What’s in it? I requested for Ngiu Chap with mixed ingredients; so there’s meat, meatballs, tripes, tongue, liver and “urat” (I think that’s the tendon?) in fragrant soup - gosh, this is much harder to explain than I thought! LOL!

Knowing bongkersz, he’s not into all these innards. So if you want to try this, you can always ask for meat and meatballs only - like my sister did. She ordered a kon lo mee with meatballs soup only. The price? RM4.50 per bowl for either one of your choice.

You want to give it a try? There’s other places with great Ngiu Chap around KK :) The place I went to, of course somewhere near my home. :)

Location: Donggongon Township

Restaurant: Kedai Kopi Loi Hin (Cawangan) - This one is on the same row with KFC.
