Fun Test
I guess by now, a lot of people here in Kota Kinabalu has posted about this place, but does not matter to me. This is my view on the food served here. Not going to say much though, I’ll just include my comments on the photos below.

Yes, it was true, the serving was mostly huge

The Menu for sandwiches and burgers

The drinks were something that I enjoyed - especially the root beer float

Caesar salad was only okay… I still prefer one that is served by Coffee Bean outlets

This pizza was nice - thin crust and cheesy, just the way I like it

Philly’s burger - the meat was so tough, it hurt my jaw to chew on them!

And their specialty - Giant Burger : The bun was too thick and fillings too little. For the price of almost RM40, it is just not worth it.

Love the chair and the interior design of the restaurant
The ambience was nice but the price, well, it’s not a place where I would go again and again. Once in a while, maybe, to try out the rest of the food served as per listed in their menu, but not too often as I do to Burger King!

In Sandakan and craving for a good satay? There’s a place that opens for business from 4 P.M. to 11 P.M. (except when the satay are sold out early) at Bandar Indah, Mile 4, Sandakan. It’s a place called Min Satay Corner, next to Do Re Mi Lounge.

The specialty of this place is of course satay; beef & chicken, but this place is also known for its chicken & beef soup too (also known as Soto at other place in Sabah). As for the drink, the house specialty is “Bandung Special Min Satay Corner”. I ordered a glass of Avocado juice, and it looks so thick and yummy that I took a few sip before remembering that I should have taken a photo of it beforehand! It was as good as it looked, so too bad I didn’t have a photo to show it to you here.

Satay and its peanut sauce
The “nasi himpit” was already sold out when I was there, but if you’re in luck, they usually have the “nasi himpit” to go with the satay

A closer look at the satay

Homemade peanut sauce
If you are in Sandakan for a day trip, you can have a taste of this satay at the Sandakan Market, in the city itself. Hope you’ll enjoy the satay as much as we did!
